The Economics Doctoral Circle (EDC) is an organization by and for PhD students at the Faculty of Business and Economics at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven. The goals of the EDC are to help build a social and professional network for PhD students and to enable the exchange of information among current, future and past PhD students.
While our events are targeted towards current PhD students, they are open to a wider audience. All junior academic personnel, including teaching assistants and post-docs, advanced master students, as well as recent PhD alumni are welcome to join and for certain activities the entire faculty will be invited.
Our activities are focussed on the Faculty of Business and Economics only. If you are from another faculty and interested in this concept, we can direct you to PhD Society, which operates on the University level and aims to unite similar initiatives.
