In the 21st century the human population is facing growing challenges such as the demographical change and the global climate change. According to recent studies, the younger generation is nevertheless optimistic about new technologies that will help solve these problems in the future. BASF has already today an interesting technical portfolio which will tackle these upcoming issues. Organic LEDs as well as innovative batteries are just two approaches of the BASF to ensure a sustainable life in the future.

Business Masters ask entrepreneurial minds to identify and analyse the business potential of those two technologies in the markets. Based on the handed-in solution and CVs, nine teams will be invited for the final round to Karlsruhe. The event will take place from the 12th to the 15th of January, 2011.

All teams qualified for the finals will travel on the organiser's account. The sponsors BASF and the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship will cover further expense, such as accommodation and board.

Besides lectures and presentations, there will also be a sound social programme leaving enough time for networking and an exchange of ideas. This multicultural environment creates a very special flair and makes Business Masters a truly unique experience.
