With the Sharing Knowledge project (VLIR/UOS), international students (mostly phd or master) from developing countries are given the opportunity to share their scientific and intercultural knowledge in the format of a lecture or lesson at one of our associated Institutions of Higher Education.
See for more information here.
For this fall, Lessius Hogeschool (Antwerp) is asking for two topics in Economics.
- For the course 'European Business Studies/International corporate Strategy', a speaker from Asia or South-America is asked for a business oriented topic, for example opportunities of companies on our European markets, their competition, advantages on our markets, fusions etc.
- For the course 'English for business communication' a business oriented topic is asked.
This is a great opportunity to strenghten your teaching skills and to 'share one's knowledge' with a Belgian audience. Also, it would be great in case we find a presentor at our faculty, if he/she would write a short summary or abstract of his/hers talk to feature on the blog.
If you're interested you can contact Klaartje Proestmans of the K.U.Leuven international office.
