On Wednesday March 2nd, six of your former colleagues who have graduated in the past 5 years, will share their experiences with job hunting, their past and current jobs and how their PhD is of use in their current job. Our speakers are (click to find out more):
- Stijn Kelchtermans (PhD in 2007, MSI), currently works as an associate professor at HUB.
Kristof Stouthuysen (PhD in 2010, AFI), currently works as an assistant professor at Vlerick.- Elissavet Lykogianni (PhD in 2007, MSI), currently works as a senior consultant at IDEA Consult.
- Olivier Lambrechts (PhD in 2007, KBI), currently works as a business developer at Lambrechts, also worked as a consultant at McKinsey & Company.
- Gerd Küpper (PhD in 2010, CES), currently works as a Market Analyst at GDF Suez.
- Jan Adem (PhD in 2004, KBI) currently works as a modeller at ING, has also worked as a credit derivative quant and as a financial market quant at the same employer.
We will start at 19:00 in HOGM 01.85, afterwards you’ll have the opportunity to talk to our speakers at a reception in HOGC 00.50 (the Chapel).
