Are you looking for a specific software package for your research? Are you curious which programs your colleagues are using? Or would you just like to expand your skill set?
Then we’ve got just what you need: A Skill Sharing Session. During this session, we will give you an overview of software packages used at our faculty, discuss the pros and cons and give you useful links to online information.
There will be something for everyone, since our session includes statistics, numerical and symbolic programs, typesetting and presentation software, databases, bibliographic sources and citation programs as well as survey and qualitative research software! We’ll even throw in an overview of the courses offered by the KULeuven aimed specifically at young researchers. You can find the timetable here. This Skill Sharing Session will take place on Wednesday October 27th from 18h-20h in room HOGC 02.28.
Registration is not necessary, but we’d like to have an idea of how many people to expect. So if you like this event, drop us a quick line at phd.academy@econ.kuleuven.be or leave a comment below!
