The value of your PhD in the job market

PhD society, our a partner organisiation at cross-faculty level, organises their first career event on December 1st. Their event differs from our own faculty career event coming up in February-March, in that the information provided is targeted towards all PhD students at our university, offering a broad perspective. In our own upcoming event, we will invite speakers who are former researchers at our faculty and hence will focus solely on our FEB colleagues and masters students.

We can definitely recommend both events if you're curious about your future career and life after your PhD!

About the event
The Speakers will share their own experiences as a PhD student at the KULeuven and their transition to their current position; give insight on the general aspects of the job market inside and outside academia. Each of the speakers will give a 15min presentation, followed by a +/-30min discussion forum, where questions can be directed towards the 3 speakers.
